Kate and the driver were both fantastic.

Kate my guide was lovely. After the heat & humidity of an hour or so at the Grand Palace I was not feeling well. In fact Kate was terrific getting the assistance I needed. The driver was also right by the exit to collect us. Thankfully I recovered however I elected to go back to my hotel rather than continue in the heat. They couldn’t have been more helpful which was greatly appreciated. Thanks once again.

Good Bangkok tour for recommendation

Very kind and knowledgeable tourist guy. We learned a lot about Wat Phra Chetuphon, The Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). He helped us to take a lots of nice photos. He took care about us and gave us good advices

Very knowledgeable tour guide, very beautiful temples! Had a great time on this tour! Just wished the tour guide had been mindful of traffic at the end of the day. Ended up getting back to the hotel an hour late cause we hit terrible traffic. Tour should end at 4:30 to allow for some drive time back to the hotel.

Great! Recommended!

We were picked up directly from the hotel. Great driver and guide! Very nice, competent guide (Benjamat)! She explained everything to us super, answered questions, was accommodating and despite many people led us through the palace. Small minus point: We did not know and were not informed that the amulet market is closed on Sunday. That's a shame. Also, the price was not cheaper, although we could not visit the market. The 4 hours are already scarce without an amulet market, so you definitely have to factor in more. Absolute recommendation, however, would not enter the palace on Sunday.

Sehe umfangreiches gutes Programm, war sehr heiß und feucht , nach drei Stunden fuhren wir zurück ins Hotel, Vorteil der privaten Führung, man ist flexibel und sieht trotzdem sehr viel von Bangkok Führung war ok und Fahrer sehr gut . Kann es empfehlen Brauche dazu noch 100 Buchstaben.

Late and difficult to understand

Tour was scheduled to begin at 9. Tour guide arrived at 10:15 which meant we didn’t have lunch until 3. Guide was accommodating but his English vocabulary and pronunciation made his narration and instructions very difficult to understand. The price was higher than some other similar half day tours however we selected it thinking it might mean we would get higher quality service. But perhaps because there were only 3 of us, the tour company could not find a more skilled English speaking guide.

Our guide Aey and Driven Mr Poon were wonderful. Knowledgeable and spent just the right amount of time at each attraction.

Make the most of your time

I really enjoyed the tour by Mr. Pui as you can sense his pride in Thailand’s rich history. He also helped my partner take hundreds of photos while I waited in the shade. Highly recommended.

Disappointed

We were glad to be able to see three temples and a palace but the level of knowledge from the guide was not very impressive. She seemed to have a hard time understanding us and while she spoke some English it was difficult for her to explain more than the basics- no extra tidbits or pieces of knowledge provided. I felt I could have googled and obtained more information on each site. She seemed like she was trying but it was not worth $360 for 3 of us for 4 hours!! I did another group tour next day with 11 other people that cost $33 and it was fantastic!! Viator had always been good except this time:(.

Best of Bangkok

The giant sleeping Buddha was wonderful. Definitely the highlight of Bangkok. Also a nice short boat ride across the river to the last temple. Guide Lila was professional and knowledgeable.

Amazing Buddhist temples

Seeing the largest reclining Buda was amazing. Pictures don't do it justice. I had never been to a Buddhist temple and to see three totally different ones in a close area was amazing. Our guide did an excellent job of explaining to us what we would be seeing and about the history behind the temples.

Beautiful Buddhas

The best part of our tour was the hardworking local guide. I think his name is Virat. He was able to escort us efficiently through the crowds to see each sight to its full advantage. That was no small task.

Great tour

First our guide Puk was great. She met us at our hotel with the driver early. She was knowledgeable and spoke very good English. She tailored the tour to our energy level (we still had jetlag) and offered to take us wherever we wanted to go ...including shopping or stopping for refreshments. This tour was exactly what we were looking for and well worth the money.

It was a very hot day, but was a joy to see all the temples. Our tour guide, Lara, was kind and gracious. I would recommend this to others, but choose a not-so-hot day.

Private Tour where you are made to feel like a VIP.

I am happy to recommend this private tour to anyone wanting to visit the Grand Palace and major Temples in Bangkok. My female guide met me promptly in my hotel lobby and arranged for our male driver to collect us. The vehicle was well maintained with great air-conditioning. My guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable, having been a guide for thirteen years. I had ample opportunity to explore each of the tour sites, with the guide offering to take photographs at significant locations and providing me with a cold drink. I never felt rushed and when we left each site, the driver arrived promptly to take us to the next site.

Whatchurat was the best

Our tour guide (khun whachurat) was one of the best guides we have ever had, and we lived here for 3 years. He was knowledgable, friendly, and very well spoken. If we could have we would have given him a 10 star.

Tour guide needs to speak English better

Although our tour guide was very nice, her English was not. This made it very hard to understand her and we felt we did not get the information needed for this tour.

SAey was a great guide. She is very knowledgeable about the Temples and overall history of the royal family and keys sights in Bangkok. Nice air conditioned vehicle and tuk tuk rides..she took care of every detail.

This was an excellent tour. If you want to see the main Bangkok cultural highlights (Grand Palace, the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, Wat Arun, etc.) this tour is a great way to do so. Our guide, Aey, was very knowledgeable and friendly, and she picked us up in her car at our hotel, which was a bit out of the way. If you take this tour in the summer, make sure you have plenty of water, as it gets really hot. Thank you for the wonderful tour!.

Average

It was great having a personal driver take us around to view the Grand Palace and Temples. We had a guide as well, but her English was difficult to understand. Also she was speaking from behind her face mask which made it difficult to hear what she was saying. The tour was not very well organized either. We had to wait for the driver every time we were finished at a site. We had to wait also for the tickets while the guide was standing in line. Not sure why all this logistics couldn't be organized in advance regarding tickets and melting points. We tried to make the best out of the tour, but I would not recommend it. Not worth the money.

Great half day tour for those that want to see the main temples and GP.

Aye was a great guide! She was helpful with our other plans as well for the day even after our tour ended. We battled the heat but it was a great tour seeing the main sites in town.

Great day visiting Temples and Grand Palace

Great tour with tour guide Puk! She was so knowledgeable on locations as well as some of Buddha's teachings which I really enjoyed. Efficient pick ups and drop offs. Great service and care in general. She made our visit very pleasurable.

Simply Amazing

Absolutely amazing experience, I was travelling solo and was made to feel very welcomed immediately even down to my amazing guide taking photos for me. The Grand Palace was outstanding and such beautiful historical architecture on full display.

Really beautiful and interesting sights.

The emarald Buddha and the lying down Buddha , but I really enjoyed all of it. Would highly recommend it and will never forget it. My tour guide was excellent very knowledgable, friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the guide did not speak English very well and it was very difficult to communicate with her. It was a very disappointing experience.

Wonderful guide in Old City Bangkok

Despite it being a half-day tour, we got to see so much of Bangkok’s Old City. We even got to ride on a tuk tuk twice! Em drove us to and from our hotel expertly and safely. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating. It was a lovely morning. Thank you so much. We’ll be back!.

A Temples Tour of Bangkok

I enjoyed the different flavors of the different temples most especially the Wat Arun with its so intricate designs and ornate decorations on the outside. Our guide Ee was very nice and hospitable although sometimes I didn’t understand what she was saying. The part of the tour that goes to the amulets should be made optional as part of the tour. I didn’t find it interesting.

Wonderful and Fantastic Journey

The Tour guide "Aey" was absolutely amazing. She explained everything so well. She is passionate about this tour and you can tell. I have been on tours that the guides don't really care or they are reading the material. Not Aey, she answers all my questions, and she explains everything wonderfully. She cares about giving you a great tour. I was on crutches and she made sure I was doing ok, and we were able to take our time a little better. Aey, talked to me about everything as we went. It was a wonderful experience and I am so Glad I was able to experience this with Aey. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. I would go again the next time I am in Bangkok. So if you get a chance please try this one out. You will not be disappoint.

Grand Palace,old & new Bangkok

We had a fabulous tour , everything went to plan and we saw all the amazing sights . Kate was very knowledgable and gave us lots of information and history of this wonderful vibrant city . She made sure we did everything we wanted also Kate took loads of great pics of us both and forwarded them to us later on in the day . We would highly recommend this tour and if Kate is your guide you would be very lucky.

Spectacular temples and grand palace

In half a day we managed to see three spectacular temples and a grand palace. Our guide Aye was very helpful and informative and the transport vehicle was top class with a great driver. This was a great overview of few excellent temples and Thai culture. The tour was well crafted for half a day tour. I would recommend this to people who are thin on time and wish to experience Thai architecture and history in short time. For us it was a good use of time. I would recommend this company. Thanks.

Great tour with amazing views and friendly guide!

Our tour of the Grand Palace and select temples was worth every penny! Our tour guide, Ms Kularb Bureerat, was very informative and friendly and made the experience very enjoyable. We learned about the history of some of the temples, along with knowledge of what different past kings built and why. Transportation to and from our hotel was very relaxing and comfortable as well. Definitely a tour that I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to experience some of Bangkok's rich history!

Spectacular experience

Some of the best temples, but exactly what you need to see to be representative for the history and tradition of the Bangkok. The car was comfortable, the driver very good and the cherry on the cake was our guide! She spoke a very good and clear English, knows everything (and not only about the tour, but everything what you may need to know), so if you ask her to be your guide, the tour will be perfect! And you'll see exactly what you need and expect for best pictures and memories from Thailand!.

Gimao is a fantastic tour guide.

Wow. This was our first tour in Thailand and our tour guide, Gimao, was amazing. She met us promptly at the hotel in the morning and didn't waste anytime is showing us the sites, getting there by bus, boat and feet. She shared so much with us and graciously took a whole bunch of pictures on her cell phone that she shared with us before the day was over. THANK YOU for a very special tour. Chris and David.

Amazing Site Seeing with Spectacular Guide!

We are honeymooning in Thailand and booked the Private Half-Day City Tour to explore the famous Wats and Grand Palace. We knew we would need a guide to navigate getting around and understanding what we were seeing. Our guide was Ketsiree and she was fabulous! When she picked us up, she told us the itinerary for the day and we told her we wanted to explore the Flower Market once our tour was over and asked to be dropped off there. Instead, she just added it on as part of the tour! We went there first and she explained all of the flowers we were looking at and she even purchased a Thai wedding flower bracelet for me, which was so incredibly kind and special to me. I wore it all day! Her English was perfect and she was so knowledgable about Buddhism and Thai history. We learned so much because of her. I would highly recommend this tour!.

Good driver bad guide

My friend and I took this tour. We got to see all the sites advertised however our guide did not speak English very well. There was minimal information given about the sites we visited. The guide would point and tell us what the building was but nothing more. I would avoid this tour

We learned so much with Kit who was an excellent tour guide and explained so much to us, not only about the temples but about Bangkok as we drove through. He was kind and attentive, took photos which he sent to us. Highly recommended experience!

Private half day tour with dignity and kindness

We were two friends in the age pf 70+ that had booked a Viator private half day tour in Bangkok. The tour in a comfortable modern Toyota city van went to from the Grand Palace to Vat Arun. We also discussed and changed the tour from a market to the Marble Temple. The guide, Ms. Aey, gave us essential and interesting historic facts about the temples, the kings and the city. She oriented us in a calm way with bright friendliness. The tour was more expensive than other tours with more participants, but it was clearly worth it. Great many thanks to Aey and the driver.
